Vor knapp 30 Jahren waren wir mit Effe und Mario schon mal „drübbe“ und wahrscheinlich sind wir sogar Weldmeisda oder so was ähnliches gewodde. Jedenfalls wird dieses Ergebnis im Kopf vom Mario mit jedem Dopa-Weizen wahrscheinlicher. Nun bringen wir diesen Wilden bei der DFB-USA-Reise ein weiteres mal das Fußball-ABC. Trotz Messi im Miami spielen die immer noch zu viel mit den Händen. Ganz praktisch, wenn man nicht so gut zu Fuß ist (so wie ich Samstag 10:30), aber dann nennt das doch bitte nicht Football. Die Hände sind zum Klatschen da, z.B. zu fetziger Musik. Und weil die Village People vor 45 Jahren einmal eine angesagte Band waren, hat sie der DFB 15 Jahre später natürlich sofort nominiert, um den deutschen WM-Song einzusingen. Das Songwriting ist natürlich absolut weltmeisterlich und konnte keinem Amerikaner überlassen werden. ESC-Hit-Garant Ralph Siegel persönlich hat hier seinen Füllfederhalter leer geschrieben, um uns nicht nur auf den Fußballthron sondern auch an die Spitze der Musikcharts zu führen. Oder auf Platz 44 (Böörti Böörti Vogts von Blöödelbarde Stefan Raab schaffte schließlich auch nur Platz 4), aber im Kopf von Ralph Siegel war es mindestens eine goldene Schallplatte.
